Work has concentrated on the new bridge, the A1042 Oaks lane roundabout and the new signalised junction. The new bridge is taking shape with the concrete deck complete, both of the edge beams cast and the posts for the parapet railings being installed. Overnight road closures of the A47 will enable the removal of the temporary formwork and completion of the paintwork.

The traffic management of the A47 to the east of the new bridge will be removed shortly and the eastbound ‘on slip’ will come into full operation.

Business leaders, local authorities and New Anglia LEP have warmly welcomed the Secretary of State for Transport's backing for the Norwich Northern Distributor Road (NDR) from the A47 at Postwick to the A1067 Fakenham road.

The work on the Postwick Hub is on track for completion this Autumn. Once completed, Broadland Gate will become a major access point into the Broadland business area and East Norwich.
