The sale of 2 acres at Plot 1b on the north of Broadland Gate has completed with LNT Care Developments, following the grant of planning consent in May. Located adjacent to the Poppy Way entrance of the estate, the plot boasts prominent roadside frontage and will provide LNT with an easily accessible location for the community.

The development of a new McDonald’s restaurant with drive-thru facility on Plot 2b at Broadland Gate has gained planning consent. The application for the restaurant was heard at Planning Committee with officer recommendation and was granted unanimous approval. The Broadland District Councillors highlighted the need for the food outlet to support and provide for other occupiers on site. 

LNT Care Developments have submitted a planning application to Broadland Council for the development of a 66-bed care home on Plot 1b at Broadland Gate. Located at the north of the site adjacent to the Poppy Way entrance, the plot will provide LNT with an easily accessible location for the community.

Contracts have completed with Lidl for the development of a new food store at the Poppy Way entrance to Broadland Gate. The outline planning application for the store was approved at Planning Committee alongside Norfolk Constabulary in September and approval has since been granted for the reserved matters application.

Lidl have commenced construction on the new 1,256 sq m store, which is anticipated to open at the end of the summer. Lidl will be a key occupier for the northern part of Broadland Gate and once open, the food store will create 40 new jobs for the local area.
